Representatives of the Military Brass Bands of Belgium, France, the Ukraine, Bulgaria took part in the First International Festival of Military Brass Bands. Concerts as well as unforgettable evening show-spectacles of all the orchestras were performed before the former pupils of Emiliyan Stanev Secondary School of General Education – Veliko Tarnovo, cadets and enlisted men from the Vasil Levski National Military University in the Vasil Levski Palace of Culture and Sport – Veliko Tarnovo. This is the first festival of the kind in the Republic of Bulgaria.
Regulations of the festival:
- The festival doesn’t have competitive character;
- The orchestras should be ready with an opening and closing ceremony of the spectacles;
- Show-program up to 15 minutes;
- Independent concert program up to 30 minutes;
- Marching in procession along the main street;
The number of the participants in the orchestras shouldn’t be more than 40 people (including the members of the orchestras, the conductors, the chauffeurs etc.)
The guest-orchestras’ accommodation and food as well as transport expenses of on the territory of Veliko Tarnovo during the festival activities will be met by the organizers.
Travelling and transport expenses of the orchestras to Veliko Tarnovo are at the orchestras’ expense.
All festival activities - marching in processions, concerts, participations in shows – spectacles etc., according to the festival program are free.
